APC Chieftain Reveals History Of Rivers APC Crisis, Senator Abe’s Plot To Destroy Amaechi & APC, After Wishing Buhari Dead

APC Chieftain has recalled Senator Magnus Abe’s efforts from onset to overthrow Amaechi.

Abe who did all he could to make sure the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State did not go into the 2019 election without him as the governorship candidate, again in almost the same step, this time dragged the All Progressive Congress to court against its planned Rivers State APC Congress.

A Chieftain and founding member of the APC in Rivers State, Sir Hon. Lucky Worluh has come out to state the history and impetus behind the Rivers APC Crisis.

Sir Lucky Worluh said ” Sincerely speaking, there is no problem in the APC in Rivers State. What we have is somebody who’s used to being in position thinking that others cannot be given opportunities outside him”

Sir Worluh recounted during President Buhari’s first tenure in office and the illness that saw him flown abroad with the then Governor Ayo Fayose raising alarm that the President was on life support. Many had concluded he may not return and saw it as a repeat of Yara`dua’s era when he was flown abroad due to illness and never returned alive.

He said, “What happened was that politician in Rivers State who thinks that they are smart saw that Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Ahmed Tinubu, President Buhari and others were strong persons behind APC, and Amaechi happens to be the leader of the party in South-South because of his contribution and participation, and they needed to displace him. They wanted to be leader of the party when a new government comes in place, believing that President Buhari will not come back alive. They know that they cannot remove him (Amaechi) from the recognition of Buhari and from the APC leadership in this county. They needed to take over the state and the region and they aspired as an alternative leadership, history is important to put across. Senator Magnus Abe, who is a smart politician, felt it was the best time to offer himself as an alternate leader of the party in Rivers State. They were the same set of people supporting Sakari to fight Buhari.

When the time to bring Adams Oshiomhole as the Chairman of our party came, he also played eye service role hoping he will be made leader of the party.”

He said “Magnus Abe had already aligned with the Saraki factor and others who where fighting President Buhari and his government, if everyone can recall”.

He further stated, “Magnus Abe also used his Thanksgiving as political re-alignments while Buhari was sick abroad. You could tell even more with what everyone saw that day.”

While those who seek to whistle down Rotimi Amaechi became more zealous, Magnus Abe whom we all know for his smartness and who should be grateful to Rotimi Amaechi, saw it as an opportunity to present himself as that alternate leader and weapon.

“Abe provided himself as the systematic plan to undermine Rotimi Amaechi in the region.

He is still providing platforms for whosoever that wants to destroy Rotimi Amaechi”, he stated.

Sir Lucky Worluh said “Magnus Abe was not visibly part of the Amaechi Family ‘Yes I Believe’ from onset, even during the K-Leg saga when we all assembled at a particular place and operated from there”.

“We contributed in millions, funded it and finally got victory at Supreme Court ruling. That’s why I laugh when some persons come to the public to lie that they fought and made Amaechi Governor.”

He stated that Even when many of them in the Amaechi Family believed Sampson Parker or Markus Nlee was going to be the SSG for being part of it, surprisingly Magnus Abe was announced as SSG, brought to Amaechi by Wike.

Abe was not Amaechi’s loyalist or friend, Amaechi only brought him closer to himself by good will without knowing that Abe came for a purpose

He cautioned against those politicians who come to wash car even when there’s a maid in the house wishing the car.

“Whatever that is happening in Rivers APC today is what people nursed and planned for long that Amaechi didn’t know.” he stated.

For Sir Worluh, Why is Magnus Abe still in APC? If he feels APC is not treating him well, he leaves.

When they were telling others not to run for a position and leave it for Abe, it was a good one. It must be him, else no one else. He even fought against person’s who were to take over as SSG while he was in the Senate. It must be him.

He revealed that As SSG, Magnus Abe ceased salaries and official cars of all those he felt were Amaechi’s boys for four years. George Feyi came within six months and cleared all.

According to him, Rotimi Amaechi made Abe get to where he is today, emergence as Minority leader in state assembly, introduced him to Dr. Peter Odili, helped him became commissioner, made him SSG, ordered everyone to see that Abe make it to the Senate, gave him opportunities to make nominations and so on. What has Abe done for his people?

In all this, Rotimi Amaechi was not a bad leader because it was all favoring Abe.

Recently, I heard him saying that he has sacrificed so much for the APC, what has he done for the party? He should name one thing he has done for the party. We all went for rally at College of Arts and Science now Elechi Amadi Polyphonic, Port Harcourt, before that rally I was declared wanted by the Commissioner of Police then in the state, Joseph Mbu for refuting his statement referring to the teachers as touts gathering to protest against President Jonathan. Then Amaechi was in the process of engaging 13,000 teachers and we had gathered for issuance of appointment letters when Mbu dispersed the teachers and declared me wanted. In same day Mbu and his men shot teargas and they said they shot Abe. Abe survived and was compensated with the senatorial seat. APC has done so much for him, Abe. In 2015 all of us worked very hard because the interest of Amaechi was how to deliver Abe and we did it. When he got to senate the next mistake Amaechi made was to allow him to bring Derek Mene to become the EDFA to NDDC, because the person that was to be appointed then was Chris Oyirindah, but Abe insisted that Ogoni does not have anything. He used office of the EDFA that time to think that Amaechi is nobody.

The only thing Abe has done for the party is destroying it.

Magnus Abe was compensated, what did I benefit as compensation? That matter went to court between I and the police and I won the police in court.

Emeka Beke was shot at Ogoni because of Abe, Senator Andrew Uchendu was maligned at the Senate for standing up for Buhari while Abe was busy parading with Senator Saraki and others fighting President Buhari. What about Chidi Lloyd and all he went through? How about Azubuike Wanjoku that was shot on close range and all that?

"What were we all compensated with like Magnus got? Many in the party went through hell for the same Magnus Abe. Those who lost their lives all because of Abe, have he not abandoned their families till today." He stated.

He recounted that when Rotimi Amaechi revealed during a meeting that he wanted to also give opportunity to younger generation to become leaders, that the existing leaders have tried and the need for younger generation. That sparked even those whom all through their stay with Amaechi have held good positions into forming a new platform to bury Amaechi and his political career. This time, they will all fail.

I am advising Amaechi as a leader to forgive them. To err is human, but to forgive is divine. I also advise Abe to be careful because some of those people pushing him want him to fail. The younger generation and all of us are saying the fight is enough.
