RIVERS ASSEMBLY THREATENS WARRANT OF ARREST ON PAMO UNIVERSITY VC, RIVERS AG, FINANCE COMMISSIONER. 

The Rivers State House of Assembly Ad-hoc Committee conducting inquiry into the funds disbursed to PAMO University of Medical Sciences from 2017 till date sat today 

This followed the summon issued by the Rivers State House of Assembly earlier this week requesting the Vice Chancellor PAMO University, the Accountant General of Rivers State, the Commissioner for Education, the Commissioner for finance and others relevant agencies to appear before the ad-hoc committee today 

However the Vice Chancellor PAMO University, the Rivers Finance Commissioner, the Rivers Accountant General were absent 

Chairman of the ad-hoc committee and deputy speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly RT Hon Dumle Maol expressed sadness at their non attendance.

He asked that they appear on Thursday 24th in person before the committee and threatened to invoke the powers and provisions of the constitution if they fail 

The education commissioner Peters Nwagor was however president
