OJUKAYE FLAG AMACHREE URGES GOV WIKE TO EMULATE BEN AYADE.

The state Chairman of APC in Rivers State, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree has asked governor Wike to emulate the governor of Cross Rivers State, Prof. Ben Ayade in carrying out meaningful projects that will affect the living standards of Rivers people.

Ojukaye Flag Amachree stated this at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport , Calabar while addressing newsmen.

"The seeding and seedlings factory which is a major source of revenue and employment generating is second to none constructed in recent times. This is a clear indication that a Governor having his people at heart, can develop the state via diversification of her economy thus creating other sources for Revenue generation beyond the usual Federal Allocations", Ojukaye stated.

Hon. Ojukaye revealed that it is very unfortunate that the reverse is the case for Rivers State, where the only major project is the daily embezzlement of funds meant for development and abuse of Federal Institutions.

"As I speak to you, funds meant for development are been embezzled  and worse is the fact that: Nothing is being done to create Employment or generate Revenue for our State. When will Rivers people enjoy the dividends of democracy as compared to the  likes of Diete Spiff, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and others, while they served to better the lives of Rivers people? Ojukaye querried.

Hon. Ojukaye challenged Gov. Wike to show one major Revenue or Employment generating project he has done for the past three years as Governor of Rivers State despite the Billions of Naira received from the Federal Government and Internally Generated Revenue.

"I'm challenging Gov. Wike to mention one project that will/is generating Revenue or provide employment, carried-out  by his administration for the past three years, for which he has served as Governor of Rivers State. I'm aware that President Buhari has not visited Rivers State because of the level of projects commissioned by Gov Wike, which in point of fact, is specifically of Local Government standard".

Counting the many failures of the administration, he charged Rivers people to hold on to their PVC Cards to kick out Wike come 2019
